UCLA Basketball Coach Steve Alford landed his third commitment for the 2016 recruiting class tonight when 3-star/4-star Center Ike Anigbogu of Centennial HS in Corona.
According to BruinReportOnline, Anigbogu is 6'9" tall and weighs in at 225 lbs. Scout ranks him as the #2 Center in California, the #13 Center in the country and the 63rd best basketball prospect in the nation. BruinSportsReport lists him as a 3-star prospect and the 144th best prospect in the country. 247Sports lists him as the 18th best Center and 129th best player in the nation.
While landing a recruit from Southern California has to be considered a big deal for Steve Alford, it is important to remember that Anigbogu is still a junior in high school and, as a result, he won't actually be on campus until Fall 2016.

Anigbogu is the second recruit from Southern California to commit to UCLA in the last two weeks. 2017 recruit LiAngelo Ball committed last Tuesday.
Welcome to Westwood, Ike!
