UCLA Basketball Ranked 16 in AP

UCLA Basketball is ranked 16 in the AP preseason poll.  UCLA was last ranked in the preseason poll in 2013-14 at 22.  This is the highest ranking since 13 in 2012-13 when Ben Howland was still coaching.

What does this mean?  Simple, Steve Alford needs to:

• Get a protected seed in the NCAA tournament (#1-4).  
  
• Finish better than his first season which was 28-9

There can be no excuses now.  All agree, Steve Alford has the horses.  He just needs to coach them to their ability.
