Tonight, UCLA opens the 2016-2017 basketball season at home at Pauley Pavilion against the UoP Tigers.
Let’s face it. Tonight should be an easy win for the Bruins. If, for some reason it’s not, it’s going to be a longer season that any of us can imagine.
But, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t things to watch for.
The #1 thing to look for when the Bruins take the court tonight is something that we’ve consistently looked for from a Steve Alford team: Defense.
Are the Bruins playing defense for a full 40 minutes of basketball?
That is what inquiring Bruin fans want to know. Other than that, expect a big win from UCLA.
