How To Watch Texas A&M vs. #14 UCLA Bruins: Preview, Game Time, TV, Live Stream and More

Please tell me this is not a rerun.

NCAA Basketball: Southern California at Texas A&M Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Football season is over and it looks like Bruin fans can be glad it’s now officially basketball season...at least for now.

At the same time, I can’t help but have a sense of deja vu as the Bruin basketball team faces Texas A&M at the start of a season.

We all know what happened to the last UCLA team to play A&M at the beginning of its season and, while this isn’t the season opener for basketball, we have to hope that history doesn’t repeat itself later on today.

For the third game in a row, UCLA is facing a team that focuses on playing defense. In the first two games of the Wooden Legacy, Texas A&M has a +17 advantage in rebounding and held their opponents to just 37.1% shooting from the floor.

This game could provide a glimpse into the rest of the season for UCLA as A&M’s only loss so far came in a 65-63 game against Southern Cal on November 18th.

Speaking of common opponents, the Aggies defeated Cal State Northridge by 22 points in the first round of the Wooden Legacy while the Bruins only beat them by 15.

So, at least, on paper, Texas A&M should pose a formidable challenge for the Bruins.
