Today, March Madness starts for real, but the UCLA madness has not ended. Since 1948, UCLA has had four losing seasons in basketball. What do those four seasons have in common? Dan Guerrero. Of course, if Dan cared, he could deal with the current problem and fire Steve Alford.

But, back to the madness. Under Guerrero, we have missed the tournament 5 times. In the 14 years before that, we never missed once.
Did I mention yet we should fire Steve Alford? The picture above is the shirt of one enterprising UCLA fan. Before the season he looked at the talent and figured we would definitely be in the tournament so he bought seats for the West Regional. If you told me the Pac-12 would have seven teams in the tournament, I certainly would have said UCLA is lock. Sigh.
All right, I will stop being a Debbie Downer. It is the tournament and Saint Patrick's Day, a great day to have an adult beverage ( remember, green is just blue and gold together) and watch some college basketball.
