The UCLA Men’s Basketball team plays its only exhibition game of the season tonight at Pauley Pavilion when they host the Cal State LA Eagles.
UCLA returns nine players from last season while welcoming seven freshmen. Fans shouldn’t look too deep into the results from tonight’s game since it’s just an exhibition game. The last time these teams met was in another exhibition two years ago at the start of the 2015-16 season. Those Bruins crushed the Eagles by 38 points, 95-57.
Yet, the Bruins finished that season under .500 for just the third time since the Wooden era ended.
Tonight’s game will help the players get the rust off a little as UCLA preps to open their season against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Shanghai, China on Friday, November 10th at 8:30 pm PT.
