Tonight’s UCLA Bruins Men’s Basketball game against the Montana Grizzlies has been cancelled due to wildfires.

UCLA has issued the following press release:

The health and safety of student-athletes, staff and fans is our top priority. Due to concerns stemming from area wildfires, tonight's men's basketball game versus Montana has been canceled. All other team workouts and practices scheduled for today also have been canceled.

Single-game ticket purchases for tonight's men's basketball game will be automatically refunded. UCLA men's basketball season ticket holders will automatically receive a credit for the cost of tonight's game to their UCLA ticket account.

Ticket purchasers with questions may contact the Central Ticket Office at 310-825-2946 or cto@tickets.ucla.edu.

Without a doubt, this became a necessity caused by the Skirball Fire, which broke out early this morning and has closed the northbound 405 since then. With a significant portion of the 405 closed so close to campus, it is making it very difficult for anyone who travels the freeway to get to or from campus.

This decision makes total sense.

Go Bruins!
