UCLA freshman forward TJ Leaf rolled his ankle when he landed on the foot of after a rebounding attempt. Leaf went down and needed assistance to head to the locker room.
UCLA has said that he will not return in the second half and he will be re-evaluated after tonight’s game.
Hopefully, it’s a mild injury and Leaf will be able to play when the Pac-12 Tournament begins next week.
UCLA leads Washington 49-28 at the half.
With a 21-point lead, Steve Alford needs to seriously consider resting his starters in the second half. If the game gets close, he can always put them back in. Go Bruins.
