The 2018 NBA Draft kicks off tonight at 4pm PT.
UCLA will probably only have just one guy — Aaron Holiday — selected tonight. It is also possible, though unlikely, that Thomas Welsh could also be selected tonight.
Of course, Gyorgy Goloman, Ikenna Okwarabizie and Alec Wulff are also eligible for this year’s draft, but it would be pretty shocking if they were to be drafted. That’s because, unlike the NFL or MLB drafts, the NBA Draft only consists of two rounds.
Speaking of players who are unlikely to be selected, one of tonight’s bigger stories could end up being about a player who doesn’t get chosen. That would be the case if LiAngelo Ball is not picked and it will be all because his father doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. It is sure to be entertaining to hear what LaVar says if his second son is not drafted.
This year’s draft is again being held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and ESPN will be covering it all.
SiriusXM will also have coverage on ESPNU Radio.
That’s important to know, especially for today’s first round. Here on the West Coast, the Draft starts at 4pm PT. Many of us in the Pacific time zone will still be at work when the draft start. So, if you have Sirius or XM in your car you can listen to their draft coverage during your commute home.
Go Bruins!!!
