This morning, the UCLA Bruins announced the 2019-20 men’s basketball non-conference schedule. For the most part, the schedule looks to be on the easier side of things with only game which looks to be really tough.
After playing an exhibition game against the Stanislaus State Warriors on Wednesday, October 30, the Bruins will officially begin their season on November 6 when Long Beach State visits Pauley Pavilion. That game will be the first of a five-game homestand which also features UC Santa Barbara, UNLV, Southern Utah and Hofstra.
UCLA will spend Thanksgiving week in Hawai’i at the Maui Jim Invitational. While the pairings for this event haven’t been finalized, the other seven teams participating are BYU, Chaminade, Dayton, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan State and Virginia Tech.
The Bruins will return home to start December with games against San Jose State and Denver before travelling to Notre Dame on December 14. UCLA’s final non-conference game away from home will be against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the CBS Sports Classic, which will be held in Las Vegas this year on December 21.
UCLA’s final non-conference game of the season will be at home against Cal State Fullerton.
