UCLA Football Spring Practice #6: Back-to-Back Morning Practice

It's awfully early in the morning as we close down toward the weekend. Jim Mora and our Bruins are back in practice action for the first back-to-back days of practice of the spring. Today marks the second day the Bruins will be in full pads, having gone to full pads yesterday, with Mora commenting on the emphasis on effort (courtesy of Bruin Sports Report):

And in case you missed it, the official site posted the clip and link to Chris Roberts' interview of Anthony Barr, where he discusses returning to Westwood for his senior season, spring practice, and his role as one of the team's senior leaders.

So, the Bruins will be underway at Spaulding Field in an hour at 7 a.m. PST, with practice lasting approximately two hours. If you are up early, feel free to grab a cup of coffee (don't bring doughnuts, you don't want to attract Chianti Dan) and head down to see the Bruins get to hitting for the second day in a row. If you can't make it, you can check out the full spring practice schedule here, with spring ball culminating in the spring game at the Rose Bowl on April 27.

If you are able to make it out to this morning's practice, fire away on your observations, updates, and takes on what happens on the field.
