Bruin Bites: UCLA's Deep Secondary, Happy Returns for Owa & Walker

We imagine some of you maybe out at Westwood this afternoon/early evening to take in the weekend practice. It was supposed to start around 12:30 this afternoon as Coach Jim Mora invited the fans to take in the "closed" practice from the Lot 8.

Practice reports/videos will not be available till later this evening. And, I am not sure how many of us will be around to update. We will do a roundup tomorrow. But in the meantime here are some quick bites:

• Coach Demetrice Martin chatted up with the reporters to talk about Bruins deep and talented secondary. Jack Wang has the video and article on progress of rising sophomore Tahaan Goodman.
• Chris Foster has a nice piece on the return of Kenneth Walker, who is going to add some pure speed in Bruins' talented offense.
• Another talented blue-chipper who is making an anticipated return to practice this spring is senior DE Owamagbe Odighizuwa. Owa had to miss last year b/c of surgeries but as Foster notes Coach McClure made sure that the year wasn't waste by deploying Owa to teach and coach up our young recruits.
