UCLA will be hosting the L.A. premiere of this film which documents the first 4 black athletes to break the color barrier in pro football. Among them, UCLA's Woody Strode and Kenny Washington '41. The film will be followed by a panel discussion. It will take place, Tue., Sept. 9th, at Royce Hall at 7pm.
Immediately following, a distinguished panel will discuss the intersection of race and sports in America: Rafer Johnson '59, Olympic gold medalist; Donovan McNabb, Retired NFL quarterback; Ross Greenburg, Forgotten Four producer; Kurt Streeter, LA Times columnist (moderator).
