Day Two of the 2015 NFL Draft saw two Bruins names get called.
Eric Kendricks was drafted yesterday in the 2nd Round by the Vikings, reuniting EK with former UCLA teammates Anthony Barr, Jeff Locke and Kevin McDermott. Meanwhile, the New York Football Giants selected Owamagbe Odighizuwa in the 3rd Round.
And, yes...that's the team's official corporate name. It dates back to the days before the baseball Giants left New York for San Francisco. They've never changed it even though the baseball Giants left in the 50s and the team moved to New Jersey in the 70s.
Today, the draft concludes with Rounds 4-7.
And, Bruin fans will want to continue to watch because one name which has not been called yet is Quarterback Brett Hundley. Three other names which could be called today are Ellis McCarthy, Anthony Jefferson and Malcolm Bunche.
Anyone of those three could be selected today, but it's also possible that they could go undrafted and be signed over the next few days as undrafted free agents.
Stay tuned here at BN as we will sound the BOOM! when any Bruin is drafted.
