What's Bruin: Can UCLA Beat Out LSU For Rashard Lawrence?

Let's take a quick look at some football recruiting news as well as some other postgame interviews from Saturday night.

Joshua Dahl-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, Bruin fans!

Everyone should be back from the weekend in Vegas. So, let's catch up on some of the news.

Let's look at recruiting news first.

Football Recruiting

While LSU appears to be the favorite to land five-star defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence, according to the non-paywalled portion of an ESPN Insider article, Scout's Gabe Brooks has an article about Lawrence scheduling an official visit to UCLA on October 3rd.

Also visiting that day will be four-star defensive tackle Boss Tagaloa from De La Salle HS in Concord. Tagaloa spoke to Scout's Ryan Gorcey about the visit.

There are a few more postgame videos from Saturday's game. Thanks to David Woods of BRO for posting all of them.

Tom Bradley spoke about the different packages and looks the UNLV had for each quarterback as well as the defensive package the team ran which got Cameron Judge playing time on Saturday.

Next up is Myles Jack discussing returning kicks and injury concerns.

Then there is Kenny Young on the performance of the defense and his pick-six.

Switching to the offensive side of the ball, there is Jordan Payton discussing the offense overall, Josh Rosen and the upcoming schedule.

That will wrap it up for this Monday morning.

Go Bruins!!!
