Well, it's just after 5pm PT on a Friday here on the West Coast. So, it's appropriate to bring you some music as a 5 o'clock whistle. Here's a video of Bruce Springsteen performing John Lee Hooker's "Boom, Boom" back in 1988.
Of course, there's a darn good reason why I opted to select "Boom, Boom" for this article. Today, UCLA picked up commitments from not one, but two offensive lineman for the 2017 recruiting class. Boom! Boom! Indeed!
The first commitment to come in this afternoon was from Will Ferrar from Travis HS in Richmond, TX who tweeted out the news.

Here is Will's Junior Season Highlights from Hudl.com:
According to Hudl, Ferrar is 6'5" tall, weighs 300 lbs. and runs a 5.35 40-yard dash. It sounds like he is big enough to start for UCLA this Fall!
Eighteen minutes later, the second commitment was announced. That commitment came from Kanan Ray who is a local kid attending Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, CA. Ray also made his announcement via Twitter.

Here are Kanan's Junior Season highlights from Hudl.com:
Ray is another big boy. He is 6'4" tall and weighs in at 275 lbs.
It's certainly good to see Coach Mora and staff going out and recruiting some more linemen to protect Josh Rosen.
Welcome to Westwood, Will and Kanan!
Go Bruins!!!
