Cordell Broadus, who was a part of UCLA's 2015 recruiting class and who changed his mind and decided against playing football last August, is planning to return to the UCLA Football team as a walk-on this Spring.
According to an article on Bruin Report Online, Broadus will take the field for Spring Practice, starting on March 29th.
Broadus was a four-star receiver prospect out of Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas when he committed to UCLA on National Signing Day in 2015. But, he didn't report to training camp last August as scheduled and it was announced that he had decided to give up his scholarship but continue at UCLA as a regular student and study filmmaking.
The BRO article also notes that it appears Broadus has been planning to come back based on posts to his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Three days ago, this was tweeted and subsequently retweeted by Broadus.

It's an interesting turn of events that Coach Mora would welcome him back after the events of last Fall, but, considering he's still a kid, he's certainly entitled to a second chance, even if it's as a walk-on.
Welcome back, Cordell!
Go Bruins!!!
