The UCLA Bruin Football team secured a commitment from a position of need from Class of 2017 offensive tackle, Jaxson Kirkland. Kirkland hails out of Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon. Here is Jaxson's tweet announcing his decision:

I like his signature in blue and gold highlighter!
Here's another tweet showing Jaxson flashing 4s Up!

Kirkland, officially listed at 6-7, 300 lbs. (although he says that he is up to 315 lb.), is a behemoth. Tackle is and will be a position of need for UCLA as Conor McDermott is a redshirt senior this season and the depth chart behind him and redshirt sophomore Kolton Miller consists of mostly underclassmen.
Plus, you can never have too many offensive linemen.
Welcome to UCLA, Jaxson! You are going to love being a Bruin.
Go Bruins!
