When the Bishop Gorman Gaels play football in the state of Nevada, they’re pretty good. 88 games in a row good, and last Thursday Dorian Thompson-Robinson and the Gaels cruised to a 63-0 victory over the Spring Valley Grizzlies.

Thompson-Robinson was able to throw the ball a little more in this game. DTR was 7/8 for 184 yards and 3 TD’s and rushed it once for 5 yards.

Big plays were the hallmark of this game for DTR. He completed TD passes of 20, 58 and and 52 yards.

Edward Lewis of Bruins Sports Report was able to interview Thompson-Robinson after the Spring Valley game. DTR hit on a number of topics in the interview, including his commitment to UCLA in light of the shaky start for the Bruins. Thompson-Robinson also talked about the type of offense he wants to run as a quarterback at UCLA. DTR also shared his thoughts on the possibility of 5-star receiver out of Mater Dei, Amon-Ra St. Brown joining the Bruins.

Elite 11

Dorian Thompson-Robinson was also able to shine in week three of the NFL Network’s Elite 11 program. For the first time this week DTR and the rest of the QB’s threw the ball against live defenders in 7-on-7 drills.

The Bishop Gorman varsity football team has an away conference game against Clark (Las Vegas, NV) on Friday, October 6 at 7 pm. The Clark Chargers come into the game with a 2-3 record.

Good luck DTR!
