More like the beat down goes on for the Gaels. The lack of competition for Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s Bishop Gorman Gaels continued this week as they crushed Desert Oasis 64-0. Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed only 9 of 11 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns, and the Gaels scored on their first 10 possessions. DTR had TD passes of 9, 26, and 37 yards.

The dominant performance by the Gaels in the first half triggered a running clock with 10:33 remaining in the first half. The dominating Gaels have outscored their first four league opponents 241-0, with DTR getting limited playing time in each of these games.

For 2017, Thompson-Robinson has completed 87/141 passes for 1,757 yards, 19 TD’s and 3 Int’s. He’s also rushed 42 times for 151 yards.

The Bishop Gorman Gaels have an away conference game at Durango (Las Vegas, NV) on Friday, October 20th, and this game is also anticipated to not be a difficult game for the Gaels.

Elite 11 Continues

The Elite 11 high school quarterbacks have now been identified and have moved to Portland, Oregon. Now they will be throwing the ball to the country’s best receivers but also against the nation’s best high school DB’s in 7-on-7 scrimmages, to ultimately determine which quarterback will be nameed the Elite 11 MVP.

To listen to the legacy of quarterbacks that have went through the Elite 11 process is pretty amazing. Names like Jameis Winston, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, Matthew Stafford, and Tim Tebow are just some of the quarterbacks to go through this competition.
