The Pac-12 released the 2018 football schedule today, giving fans the first chance to know when conference games will take place.
Of course, it was already known that the UCLA Bruins will play home games against the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Fresno State Bulldogs and a road game against the Oklahoma Sooners.
UCLA will play seven home games next year. Now, a few years ago, that might have been worth noting because there was some evidence that playing seven home games helped teams get to the national championship game, but, given the current state of the program under Jim Mora, that just doesn’t seem very likely. Of course, if there’s a change in coaches, that could make this meaningful.
