Samuel saw action last year in five games as a reserve for the Bruins in their secondary and also on special teams. Samuel suffered a torn ACL in 2018 while covering a kickoff against Utah.
2017 was Samuel’s best year as a Bruin as he saw action in all 13 games and made three starts in the Bruin defensive backfield. He had 11 tackles and tied for second on the team with four pass defenses.
Samuel is the seventh Bruin to announce that he will be leaving the program since the season ended.
Go Bruins!
