UCLA Football Season Opener at Cincinnati Changed to Thursday Night

The date of the game is being moved to accommodate television.

The 2019 UCLA Bruins football season will start two days earlier than originally scheduled. Instead of facing the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, August 31st as planned, the game will now be played on Thursday, August 29th.

This change is being made to accommodate ESPN’s desire to air the game for a national TV audience.
