Once-heralded recruit Mique Juarez announced that he will transfer to Utah as a graduate transfer after completing his undergraduate degree at UCLA. Juarez played in just 14 games for the Bruins over the course of three seasons.
Juarez announced his decision this morning on Twitter.
Thank you Utah coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to continue playing ball. And for also giving me this time to also take care of my family and to graduate from UCLA. I’m not just blessed I’m thankful for this amazing opportunity. Trust in God and Family✊ pic.twitter.com/vBEcrpdjvm

He finishes his UCLA career with just three tackles.
The LA Daily News reported in March that “all his neurological tests, MRIs and CAT scans have come back with positive results.” Despite that, UCLA’s doctors still would not clear him to rejoin the Bruin team.
So, now, that he has his UCLA degree, he will head off to Utah with the hope of playing again.
Best of luck, Mique, except maybe when you play UCLA in each of the next two seasons.
Go Bruins.
