Happy Halloween folks. Today has been more about the basketball news, but there are still a few football notes to share.
The Bruins are less than 48 hours from their Homecoming day return to the Rose Bowl to take on Colorado. As usual, Coach Mora held a post practice talk with the media. (video via the UCLA Athletics YouTube channel)
The availability of Jordon James and Eric Kendricks will be gametime decisions. Jordon did participate in today's practice, with Mora pleased with what he saw. . Personally, I would error on the side of caution against the Buffaloes - particularly with Kendricks, considering how banged up he has gotten the last couple of weeks.
A couple of days after being considered as possible returnees for this weekend, Simon Goines and Connor McDermott will miss another week. That should lead to another start at guard for Scott Quessenbery, and the possibility that Xavier Su'a Filo remains at left guard for the rest of the season.
Per Ed Lewis, Coach Ulbrich joined in with the linebackers for a few reps this morning. But more than that, take a look at the uni that he was wearing.

Chris Foster wrote a nice piece on Anthony Jefferson in today's LA Times, examining Anthony's overcoming family tragedy and the years missed due to injuries since coming to UCLA, and how that has led to his finally breaking out as a starter this season.
