How To Watch UCLA Bruins at #15 Colorado Buffaloes: Game Time, TV, Live Stream and More

The UCLA Bruins travel to Folsom Field to play the #15 Colorado Buffaloes tonight at 6:00 pm PT.

UCLA v Colorado

The UCLA Football team returns to action tonight after a week and a half off following the loss to Utah.

And, we still have no answers to the questions that have plagued the team all season long. In fact, as the Bruins head into tonight’s game, there are even more questions. Will UCLA stick with a one-dimensional pass-only offense again? How will running a Spread-based offense affect the defense tonight?

Let’s look at the keys to tonight’s game.

1. Stop the Run

UCLA needs its defense to show the stoutness we've seen most of the season. The team cannot afford to allow the Buffaloes to run all over it, like, well, a buffalo stampeding through the plains. If the Bruin offense is still running the Spread Tempo offense we saw against Utah and the defense gives up a ton of yardage on the ground, it will seem to connect poor run defense to the Spread.

2. Get the Defense Off the Field

It's pretty simple: Colorado can't score if they don't have the ball. The team cannot allow the Buffalo offense to have the ball twice as much as the Bruin offense and expect to win the game. If the Defense stops the run and minimizes Colorado's time of possession, it will take a lot of pressure off Mike Fafaul and the Offense.

3. Take Care of the Ball

One way to minimize Colorado's time of possession is to stop giving the ball back to them. That means avoiding turnovers and punts. Mike Fafaul needs to avoid throwing interceptions. Everyone needs to avoid putting the ball on the ground. And, the backs and receivers need to get to the sticks.

These may be unrealistic expectations for this team at this point. Of course, it's a lot easier said than done. But, it's basic football and maybe getting back to basics is what this team needs right now.
