How To Watch UCLA Bruins at Washington Huskies Football: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More

Today, the UCLA Bruins visit Seattle and the Washington Huskies in a Pac-12 Conference matchup that probably won’t be close.

Why not? Because the Huskies are the #12 team in the country and are probably the best team in the Pac-12 Conference and that’s because they’ve got a guy in Chris Petersen who is one of the best football coaches on the West Coast.

UCLA enters the game as a 17.5 point underdog. The worst part is that it may not be that close. But, there is a reason they play the games and this could be a trap game, not for UCLA, but for Washington. If the Huskies underestimate the Bruins, UCLA might just surprise everyone today.

Keys to the Game

1. Stop Myles Gaskin. Last week against Oregon, UCLA’s run defense looked...better. Sure, Oregon still managed to run for 246 yards, but, compared to some of the other teams the Bruins have played, that was a big improvement. Can they turn better run defense into a trend today? They better hope so if the Bruins expect to have any chance to win today.

2. Make offensive plays early, often, and late. UCLA is going to need to turn this game into one of those Pac-12 shootouts where the last team to score wins. To accomplish this, they will need to score early and often to keep it close heading into the fourth quarter and, then, control the clock, just like they did last week against Oregon, so that they take the lead without enough time left for Jake Browning and company to score one last time.

3. Win the Takeaway Game. It’s hard to win when you turn over the ball like UCLA did against Arizona. UCLA needs to find a way to win the takeaway game. If the Bruins start turning the ball over, either on the ground or through the air, it will be a very long afternoon for Bruin fans.
