The UCLA women’s tennis team finished the regular season ranked tenth nationally and they begin play in the NCAA Women’s Tennis Tournament today as the seventh seed as the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
UCLA finished up the regular season tied for second in the Pac-12 and the Bruins were the #2 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament. Unfortunately, they lost to top-seeded Stanford in the Pac-12 Finals, 4-2, last Saturday.
The Bruins are led by redshirt junior Jada Hart, who should compete on court one in singles, and freshman Elysia Bolton, who should be on court two today. Hart and Bolton also combine to form UCLA’s number two doubles team.
Ayan Broomfield and Gabby Andrews will make up the Bruins number one doubles team. Meanwhile, Broomfield will likely be found on court three for singles while Andrews will probably play singles on court six.
UCLA’s third doubles team consists of Abi Altick and Taylor Johnson. Altick will also compete in singles on court five. The Bruins will also have senior Alaina Miller competing in singles on court four.
None of this weekend’s matches will be televised or streamed, but you can follow along using the live stats link in the sidebar above.
