Here's that tweet we know and love...
#8clap 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. #UCLA #Bruins #NewBreed #OTO
— Adrian Klemm (@IAMKLEMM) November 5, 2013
Coach Klemm continues to push #OLineU in Westwood and got a big addition this morning when Najee Toran committed to the Bruins. Toran was previously comitted to Oregon State but flipped after visiting UCLA this weekend with his mom.
Toran is from North Shore HS in Galena Park, Texas, which is just east of Houston (and outside the loop for those who know). He is 6-3 and 263 lbs, and is rated at 3 stars by both Rivals and Scout. His profile can be seen here and there is video below. In most of these plays, he is the right tackle lined up inside the TE at the end of the line. The kid really sticks with and finishes his blocks!
Najee is the first offensive lineman committed for 2014. After two excellent OL classes, the Bruins don't have a big need to take that many, but they still have their eyes on several other OL prospects, so don't expect Klemm to let up on the gas. Of course, all these commitments are nonbinding until NLI day on Feb 5th, but we sure love to see those high school athletes selecting U.C.L.A. now. You can see U.C.L.A.'s current football commitment list here.
Welcome to U.C.L.A., Najee! Line wins games! BOOM!
GO BRUINS!
