UCLA Football Recruiting: Rising LA Linebacker – Cameron Griffin – Commits to Bruins

UCLA picks up a commitment from rising senior linebacker from Los Angeles - Cameron Griffin.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

UCLA football picked up a pretty good commitment on Friday. From Scout.com's Greg Biggins:

Cameron Griffin was being recruited by Tony White at SDSU who happens to be a former Bruin LB who played for current SDSU HC Rocky Long, when he was our DC in Westwoood. More on the 6-3, 215 lb senior form LA's View Park Prep (LA Times):

Griffin has made 86 tackles this season for the 6-0 Knights. He's considered the top player in City Section Division III. He has been committed to San Diego State but has started to receive attention from Pac-12 schools.

Griffin is rated as a 3-star LB on scout.com who also had offers from Arizona and Washington State.  With him on board Bruins now have 13 commits for the class of 2013, which is currently ranked 36 th in the nation. Obviously lot can change depending on how remaining games of this regular season plays out, which means that pressure is on Mora and his staff to finish strong.

Here is some video on Cameron:

Apparently he can play some guitar too:

Welcome to Westwood Cameron.

GO BRUINS.
