And the good news keeps rolling in for UCLA football. Coach Jim Mora's program just picked up a huge commitment from the recruiting trail (HT Bruins#1):
"I just committed to #UCLA," Lompoc (Calif) DL Lompoc DL Ainuu Taua

And why is this especially big news?
Taua is the top rated defensive tackle in the state and took his official visit to UCLA this past weekend

Edward posted a very cool photo after Ainuu committed to the Bruins:
The father of four-star DL Ainuu Taua sent me this photo of the Tauas celebrating the Bruin commitment today: pic.twitter.com/YNsdbt99rj

Taua's scout.com profile page not surprisingly is an impressive one as the 4 star DT racked up offers from well over dozen BCS programs which included powerhouses such as Wisconsin and Oklahoma (as well as Pac-12 programs up and down the coast). Here are some camp highlights of him from earlier this year:
And some highlights from his Junior year:
With him on board Bruins now have 13 commits for the class of 2013, which is currently ranked 36 th in the nation. Although expect that ranking to change dramatically in the coming weeks as Bruins hopefully steam roll towards NSD.
Welcome to Westwood John.
GO BRUINS.
