We are now almost halfway into National Signing Day. The fax machine in Morgan Center has been humming, and the coaches are pumped. Here is Ralph Irvin talking with Coach Martin about the recruits who have already sent in their LOI's to UCLA.
As of 11am Pacific time, UCLA has received 18 LOI's from members of the 2013 recruiting class - not including Eldridge Massington, who came to UCLA last month as an early enrollee. You can see the list of all of our committed and target recruits in our first Signing Day post. One committed recruit that will not be sending in a commitment letter today is Craig Lee, who still has some work to do in the classroom and/or on standardized tests as reported by Edward Lewis of Bruin Sports Report.
Four-star RB Craig Lee won't be able to sign with #UCLA today because of academic issues, his family told me ($): bit.ly/YaKZHC

It seems that Craig still wants to be a Bruin and that the coaches feel the same way. Good luck to Craig in getting his academics in order, and hope that we can see him on campus and wearing the blue and gold soon!
It has not been a busy morning in the football offices in Heritage Hall the University Village strip mall. Thankfully, Jason Kirk is on the trail of the Signing Day plans of Southern Cal's coaches for SBNation.
Not much else for USC to do today but chow down on some snacks: bit.ly/VV8ZjD #snacks
