Another BOOM on the same day. Because why not?
After hitting a rough patch on the recruiting trail in recent weeks suddenly Coach Mora and his staff have picked up a little bit of steam, the Bruins continued a solid week in recruiting with another commitment from a talented defensive back out of Southern California. Chaminade's Jojo McIntosh committed to UCLA today, selecting the Bruins over Boise State.

Yes, JoJo announced his commitment using Vine.
While McIntosh is not a highly recruited DB he has good size (listed at 6-1, 180) who will help Coach Demetrice Martin add depth to his secondary. Greg Biggins from scout.com (not behind subscription firewall) called him a "top safety prospect":
Jojo McIntosh is easily among the top safety prospects in the West with a very nice upside. He's very athletic, covers a ton of ground in the secondary, has excellent ball skills and is a physical presence who can bring the wood. He can play the run and pass equally well, is very smart and is a natural leader in the secondary.
McIntosh went 2-2 on the summer camp circuit landing scholarship offers from the two schools he camped with, Boise State and UCLA. Those are also his finalist and he'll make his decision this Friday.
Getting an offer from Chris Petersen's program is not too shabby. Here are his profiles on Scout.com, ESPN and 247Sports. And to the YouTube we go for the highlights:
You can also check out his highlights from sophomore year here.
McIntosh had received his offer from UCLA late last month. Bruin coaches made him an offer after seeing him in action on campus. He becomes the sixth commit for the incoming class of 2014 joining Ron Robinson, Austin Roberts, Jordan Lasley and Barry Ware.
Let's give a warm welcome to the Bruin family to JoJo.
GO BRUINS.
