After a beat down at the behest of the Arizona State Sun Devils, the UCLA Bruin football team is licking its wounds in the bye week. There is, however, other news in the world of UCLA sports. Let's see What's Bruin.

Football Recruiting:

Top wide receiver prospect, Theo Howard, visited UCLA last weekend. Bruin Report Online reports that despite UCLA's loss, Howard said his visit was great and recaps the specifics of his visit at UCLA.

UCLA Basketball

If you hate ESPN talking heads discussing who is great and who isn't in basketball weeks in advance of the first tip-off, go ahead and skip this video piece from ESPN's Andy Katz discussing why UCLA's Head Coach thinks the Bruins should be a Top 25 team this upcoming season. I suppose you'll also want to skip this if you are not a fan of the current man in charge. Or if you think, "of course UCLA should be in the Top 25, we should be in the Top 25 every single year." So pretty much everybody, go ahead and move along to . . .

Men's Golf

The UCLA Bruins Golf Team hit the links yesterday in Round 2 of the Erin Hills Intercollegiate, in Erin, Wisconsin. Senior Jonathan Garrick leads the entire field at -7, and the UCLA Bruins as a team are in third place. Play resumes today.

Men's Tennis

Two UCLA Bruins advanced in the ITA Men's All-American Championships yesterday. Both sophomore Martin Redlicki and senior Karue Sell moved on the second round of qualifying. Play continues today with Redlicki taking on Jordan Angus of the University of San Diego and Karue facing off against Andrew Watson of Memphis. Both matches start at 8:30 a.m. PT. Live video is available as are updates and recaps.

UCLA Athletics

UCLA Hall of Fame Inductee, Jan Palchikoff (women's rowing, swimming, and diving) talks about what UCLA means to her:

Rowing, swimming, and diving. That is tremendous.

A cool, somewhat sentimental bit to end today's What's Bruin.

Have a great day, Bruins!!!
