BOOM! 4* OL Josh Wariboko-Alali Commits to UCLA over Oklahoma and Ohio State

The Bruins add more strength, size and talent to the offensive line.

O-Lines win games. Welcome Josh!
O-Lines win games. Welcome Josh!

Four star offensive guard Josh Wariboko-Alali, out of Oklahoma city, committed today to the Bruins adding yet another quality O-lineman to the 2015 recruiting class:

Josh stands 6-3 and weighs 314 pounds.  Rivals ranks Josh 8th, Scout has him 10th, and 247's composite ranking is 6th at his position.  You can see his Rivals profile here, his Scout profile here, and his 247 profile here. Adrian Klemm is credited for his recruiting.

Josh's last name, Wariboko-Alali means "a protector of place". How perfect is that?  He joins two others with Nigerian roots in this year's class, running backs Soso Jamabo and Bolu Olorunfunmi.  There is a great article about Wariboko-Alali the man and his family here where I learned about the name and about his character:

For me to see my parents every day, waking up early, going to work and trying to provide something for me and my brothers ...  you want to implement stuff like that.

While Josh has been a strong UCLA lean, he also strongly considered Ohio State and Oklahoma (where his parents met and earned their degrees). Josh will be joining other class of 2015 offensive linemen 4* Tevita Halalilo, 4* Andre James, and 3* Fred Ulu-Perry in their mission to protect 5* quarterback Josh Rosen and open holes for our talented receiving corps.

Here are Wariboko-Alali's senior season highlights from Hudl:

Welcome to Westwood, Josh!  May you, as your Nigerian name Ibigoni proclaims, have a great journey at UCLA!

Go Bruins!
