It may be the middle of March Madness, but football season never really end, does it?
U.C.L.A. just got a commitment at the Ground Zero 7 on 7 Football Camp tonight from 3* Athlete Demetric Felton from Great Oak HS in Temecula CA.

Felton is ranked as a 3* by Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports, but a look at his highlights makes you think a higher ranking could be in the offing with a big senior year. He is listed at 5-6 and #170, plays both running back and receiver, and he speed, speed, moves, and more speed. Per Scout's Greg Biggins, he'll play slot WR for the Bruins. Felton currently has offers from Washington, Cal, Utah, and Michigan. Here are his profiles on Rivals, Scout, and 247. Taylor Mazzone is credited as his lead recruiter.
Felton recently told Biggins he had a couple favorites and was looking to choose a school early in his senior season this fall, but his recent offer by the Bruins must have been too good to pass up.
Check out Demetric's junior highlights. And don't blink.
We have talked frequently about the Bruins' need for someone who can break down a defense vertically and Felton looks to have the kind of speed to do that, especially with his ability to play out of the backfield or in the slot. His size suggests he wouldn't be an every down running back, but his skill set makes him the kind of player who would excel in the Bruins offense that is designed to get the ball to the playmakers in space. Now that the Bruins have a commitment from someone who could fill that need, the Bruins need to make sure to hang on to him until NSD 2016.
Boom! Welcome to Westwood, Demetric!
GO BRUINS!
