Welcome to the second installment of What's Bruin. Here's a quick look at some of the latest news in the world of UCLA Athletics. We'll lead off today with some recruiting news.


It looks like UCLA Football Commit Darian Owens of Clovis West HS will be taking official visits to other schools despite his commitment to UCLA, according to Greg Biggins of Scout.

In more football recruiting news, 3-star center Sean Auwae from Kapolei HS in Hawaii will announce his college decision on Friday and UCLA is in his top six. Greg Biggins looks at UCLA's chances.

In basketball recruiting news, 5-star Cathedral Catholic Center Brandon McCoy has listed UCLA among the schools recruiting him the hardest and Scout/BRO has highlights of him from adidas Nations.
