Yesterday, 4-star defensive tackle Greg Rogers from Las Vegas Arbor View committed to UCLA in a video which remade an iconic scene from the movie Goodfellas, which makes sense because he’s from Vegas. Here’s Rogers’ announcement:

Rogers is ranked as the number 6 defensive tackle in the country by 247Sports.
Rogers is 6’3” tall, weighs in at 305 lbs., and runs the 40 in 5.46 seconds, according to his Hudl profile.
Here are Rogers’ junior year highlights from when he was at Las Vegas Centennial, courtesy of Hudl.
In this shorter clip also from Hudl, Rogers is seen shedding multiple blocks to eventually make the tackle.
Rogers can also rush the passer, as seen in this Hudl clip from earlier this year against Foothill HS.
And, for good measure, here’s another Hudl clip of highlights from Arbor View’s game against Faith Lutheran earlier this season.
Overall, it’s pretty easy to see why UCLA recruited Rogers and, with Eddie Vanderdoes graduating, he may be able to earn the opportunity to start immediately next season.
BOOM! Welcome to Westwood, Greg!
Go Bruins!!!
