Paco is literally big recruit, 6'3.5" 300 lbs. and ranked in the top 5 as a guard in Caliornia and the West. Committed to UC Berkeley for a 'soft verbal' for a while, and with offers from other Pac12 schools (ASU, Colorado, OSU) the Bruins closed strong as they were able to bring Paco two weekends ago. The center was a position of need going into the 2016 recruiting cycle but with grad center Jake Raulerson (who has 2 years of eligibility) this was mitigated a bit. However, bringing in a top 5 center for depth is always welcome as....say it with me....Lines win games! He's also versatile and can play guard too.
Scout has a spotlight on Paco:
He started with a 2.6 GPA but has worked hard to up his GPA so he can attend college. He's the first in his family to attend college so way to go Paco!
Scout also has his 2015 highlights:
Welcome to Westwood, Paco!
GO BRUINS!
