In a new video from the SB Nation mothership, UCLA early enrollee and top college football prospect in the country Jaelan Phillips says that “UCLA is family.”
Phillips becames the overall top college football prospect yesterday when 247Sports released their new composite rankings which compiles the rankings of multiple recruiting services to form an overall composite ranking.
Phillips was the star of the U.S. Army All-American Game a few weeks ago where he was making plays all over the field.
Phillips, who graduated from Redlands East Valley ahead of schedule so that he could start at UCLA this January, committed to UCLA last April and has been a solid Bruin commit since right up to the point of enrollment a few weeks ago.
Just hearing Jaelan say the three words “UCLA is family” should warm the hearts of Bruin fans and increase our pride in the Four Letters knowing that this young man will be representing our university on the football field for the next few years.
