The 2017 UCLA Football got bigger yesterday when two recruits committed to the Bruins. In the case of Rahyme Johnson, it was a re-commitment. Martin Andrus joined Johnson as part of the Bruins’ recruiting class yesterday.
The duo made the announcement together via a video posted by Bleacher Report.

Personally, I think the best part of that announcement was the fact that the kidnappers turned out to be Bruin commits Jaelen Phillips and Jaylen Shaw.
Initially, Johnson was the first commitment of UCLA’s 2017 recruiting class when he announced his commitment back in July 2015. You can see Rahyme’s highlights in our original article. Soon thereafter, Johnson famously burned his Trojan gear. It’s great to have Rahyme back with the Bruins! Welcome back!
Martin Andrus is a brand new commit for UCLA Football. Andrus is a 4-star 6’3”, 255-lb. defensive lineman from Los Angeles High.
Here’s Martin’s junior year highlights from Hudl:
Meanwhile, here’s a complete list of highlights for him and here’s highlights from his game against Fairfax High:
Welcome to Westwood, Martin!
Go Bruins!!!
