The Bishop Gorman Gaels crushed another Southwest League opponent last Thursday night at Fertitta Field. The 43-0 win over Sierra Vista gave the Gaels their 11th consecutive conference title and their sixth straight shutout against in-state competition. Bishop Gorman is now 8-2 overall and 6-0 in the Southwest League.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson had another solid game. DTR was 12/17 for 214 yards and 2 TD’s.
As was mentioned in last week’s article, Thompson-Robinson has had an impressive senior year. The stats below encompass the regular season, and based on the history of the Gaels, these stats will grow as Bishop Gorman moves into the playoffs.
Thompson-Robinson and the Bishop Gorman Gaels have a home playoff game vs. rival school Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV) on Friday, November 3.
Help is Coming to UCLA
After yesterday’s game at the University of Washington, and the foregone conclusion at UCLA that Rosen will be headed to the NFL after his junior season, UCLA fans are left wondering what the future at the QB position holds. Well, DTR had an answer and that answer is that he will be arriving at UCLA soon.
Only time will tell how soon Thompson-Robinson will be able to help the Bruins, but it is nice to know that help is on the way.
