UCLA Football picked up another commitment when 4-star ATH Bryan Addison from Serra Gardena HS announced his college decision.

Addison made the announcement on Twitter.

Addison is 6’4” tall and weighs 172 lbs. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.76 seconds and has a 30.7” vertical jump.

Addison spoke with Scout.com’s Greg Biggins about his commitment. Addison said:

I've always liked UCLA, that was my school growing up. It's where I feel most comfortable and I like the direction the program is going in under Chip Kelly. Bringing in Kelly was a big time power move and showed me a lot.

He's a great coach and I'm excited to be part of his first recruiting class. UCLA has recruited me hard from the beginning and I have a real good relationship with coach Jimmy (Dougherty). Everything just fits for me at UCLA and I'm excited to be a Bruin. There's a real brotherhood there and you could really feel that on the visit this weekend.

They want to use me as an athlete and play on both sides of the ball. I'm going to start out at receiver and then move over to safety but they want to use me on both sides.

I'm open to however they want to use me, I just want to play. I think there's a great opportunity for me to step in and make an immediate impact and that was another big reason why I liked UCLA.

Let’s take a look at Addison’s senior season highlights from Hudl.com.

Welcome to Westwood, Bryan!

Addison’s commitment isn’t the only UCLA recruiting news we have this morning.

While the Bruins were busy adding Addison, they also lost the commitment of 3-star ATH Isaiah Johnson from Thomas Downey HS in Modesto.

So, with the addition of Addison and the subtraction of Johnson, here’s where UCLA Football’s 2018 recruiting class stands eight days before the opening of the new early signing period. UCLA’s next potential addition could be Chase Cota from South Medford HS in Medford, OR. Cota will announce his commitment tomorrow at 5 pm PT.
