After flipping his commitment the other day, Calvert explained his decision when he spoke with Rivals’ Adam Gorney. Calvert said:
[Chip Kelly] is an extremely smart man, and his staff is full of other very smart guys. The program is based on the combined knowledge of coaches that have been in the game for a very long time and their experience and expertise is going to be really great for UCLA.
They will be running a 3-4 scheme in which I would be playing an athletic outside linebacker that will be able to bump and cover a tight end, as well as rush off the edge and set the edge for run support. think I will fit well in their scheme.
Glad you made it official, Bo!
Go Bruins!!!
