"I'm signing with UCLA,” Mafi said in an interview with Scout.com’s Brandon Huffman. “Coach Azz was a big reason why I committed to Cal in the first place, so now that he's at UCLA, it shook it up.”
Mafi’s Hudl.com profile lists him at 6’3” tall and weighing in at 360 pounds. His junior year highlight film shows him just levelling opponent after opponent, regardless of the side of the ball he was on at the time, and, with his size, he should be plowing through them. Take a look for yourself.
Mafi made an official visit to Westwood last weekend and, according to Huffman, that is what put the Bruins over the top. Mafi told Huffman:
The one thing that stood out on the visit was the overall culture of UCLA. There was something different about being in Westwood.
Yeah, Atonio, there is.
Welcome to Westwood, Atonio!
Go Bruins!!!
