It seemed like UCLA Football was done announcing signees for the evening, but fifteen minutes after we published our Day 1 recap, the Bruins announced that Stephan Blaylock’s National Letter of Intent had been received, officially making the St. John Bosco product a Bruin.

Blaylock originally committed to UCLA back in May. At the time of his commitment, Blaylock was the third safety in the 2018 recruiting class. However, due to the UCLA coaching changes and other factors of the recruiting cycle, Blaylock is currently the only safety in the recruiting class as Jhevon Hill and Cam’ron Jones both decommitted before today.
When he committed, Blaylock was ranked as the 23rd best safety in the country by 247Sports, but, as of tonight, his ranking has improved a little and he is now ranked as the 21st best safety in the country by 247Sports.
Blaylock’s signing leaves only three UCLA recruits unsigned at this time. Of course, that could change if any of those three should sign or if UCLA should add a new commitment.
Welcome to Westwood, Stephan!
Go Bruins!!!
