The Bruins got a commitment from another running back yesterday when 3-star RB Lentivone Lesane committed to UCLA.
Lesane is 6’2” tall and weighs in at 186 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.79 seconds and has a 34.7” vertical jump.
But, thr thing I like best of all about Lesane is his Twitter handle. His Twitter handle? Yup, his Twitter handle. How could you not like a football player whose Twitter handle is Humble Beast? I’m certainly looking forward to seeing the latter part of that handle in a Bruin uniform in the Fall of 2018.
Speaking of Twitter, Lentivone announced his decision via Twitter.
The other thing I like about Lentivone is that he’s opted for the hard road. After all, he had an offer from the University of Miami, which is very close by where he lives now. So, he could have opted to go play for the Hurricanes in nearby Hard Rock Stadium. That would have been the easiest way to go.
But, instead, he’s choosing to make the 3,000 mile trek to Southern California to go to UCLA. He sounds like a smart kid to me because, while he doesn’t say it, he is opting for the better school academically.
As far as football goes, let’s take a look at what Lentivone has done on the field with his “Humble Beast” highlights from Hudl.com.
He seems to have an innate ability to get past tacklers and into the open field. And, if he gets to the outside, look out!
Welcome to Westwood, Von!
