In a surprise move by Chip Kelly’s recruiting staff, an offensive lineman was added to the 2018 recruiting class, a unit that struggled all of 2017 and is in desperate need of some new blood.
Today, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive lineman from Milwaukee was added, and this guy was literally flying under the radar. He has a sparse 247Sports.com profile and little to nothing on social media, and no hints as to where he’s sign until today.

In looking him up on Twitter, he’s a bit of a ghost. But I was able to learn that he was class president at Marquette University High School and was named to the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-State honorable mention in 2017. He also had offers from Iowa, Purdue, Cal, Northern Illinois.
He does have a Hudl profile and here are his senior year midseason highlights.
Welcome to Westwood, Jon!
Go Bruins!
