It’s a great day to be a Bruin!
That’s because the 2020 Early Signing Period begins today!
For the third year in a row, college football begins its Early Signing Period today and recruits can officially sign their National Letters of Intent today, instead of waiting until February.
Of course, some recruits will still opt to wait until February. Some folks, like SB Nation’s Recruiting & Gaming Editor Bud Elliott believe as many as 75% of all recruits will sign between now and Friday. Like last year, we won’t know for sure until the Early Signing Period closes on Friday.
Today is one of the biggest days on the college football calendar as high school recruits are able to sign their national letters of intent and officially announce their college decisions.
After another rough football season in 2019, the Bruins are looking to regain their mojo under head coach Chip Kelly and re-ignite the hopes of the UCLA fan base. The Bruins currently have a 20-member recruiting class. And, while that looks good, there are still a few guys who could surprise and announce for UCLA today or choose to go elsewhere.
We’ll have to see how today unfolds.
