Charles Njoku, a 6’4” tall wide receiver from Wayne Hills HS in Wayne, NJ, has signed and submitted his National Letter of Intent and is now officially a Bruin! UCLA Football announced that it has been received on Twitter:

During his senior season at Wayne Hills, Njoku caught 52 passes for more than 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns. It’s easy to see why.

Njoku is 6’4” tall and runs a 4.55-second 40-yard dash and he comes from a football-playing family. His older brother David Njoku plays tight end for the Cleveland Browns while his other brother Evidence Njoku plays for the Miami Hurricanes.

He originally committed to Missouri but chose to decommit in November. Nebraska was the other Power 5 program trying to land him.

A look at his highlights shows why Chip Kelly flew to New Jersey to meet with Charles Njoku.

Considering that one of his brothers is currently playing from Miami and his brother David also played college football for the Hurricanes, it was a little surprising that Njoku didn’t also choose the Canes, but, hey! the Canes’ loss is the UCLA Bruins’ gain!

Welcome to Westwood, Charles!

Go Bruins!!!
